An unknown operating system error has occurred." Adobe released an update, which I downloaded, but during installation, it too crashed (couldn't perform the update and provided a link to Adobe support.ġ) Deleting the PLIST file for Bridge, no luck.Ģ) Tried the Option Bridge trick to reset all preferences in Bridge, no luck.ģ) Created a new Admin account, logged into it, Bridge worked.Ĥ) Adobe technical help said it is now an Apple problem since the program worked with the new admin account.ĥ) Apple said pound sand, it's an Adobe program, it should work regardless of which admin account.Ħ) Back to Adobe, talked to third level (still tier 1) person, it's an Apple problem. I tried running Bridge, and it crashes during the launch "The operation could not be completed. I installed all my Nik plugins and Bokeh Plugin. Installed the CS5 serial number, installed the SC4 legacy serial number, all is well. I downloaded Photoshop CS5 Extended, installed it on my new MacBook Air (this computer has never seen any CSx product). I am running Win 7 64 bit, 4 core cpu, Ati 7000 series videoĪdobe Bridge, CS5 crashes when starting up. Ship the file and we are done with it until an answer is forthcoming. I use a program which provides just that and it is quite satisfying to get feedback from their engineering, which in more than one occurrence became an issue for which an effective update resulted. I would suggest that say 5 to 7 days of data be held which would cycle through and keep only the most recent set so when we have a problem which dos not yield to normal problem solving, we can zip and send them on to Engineering. I would urge Adobe to offer a comprehensive log file collection. I have problems with a number of details which I have posted on PS, ACR and now Bridge forums. It seems that we have been offered something like an RC or maybe even beta. I don't like what I am seeing as I continue to explore current CC2014 operations. I hoped I could go back to an earlier Bridge to see how that worked but the only version available is the current one, unlike PS, where I can run cc2014 or CC 14.2.1. I haven't been able to completely re-create this Preview anomaly so I likely hit a specific key unintended which caused this effect to occur (SWAG here!) The only way I could correct the corrupted previews was to open all the pano frames in ACR and moving any slider one unit, like sharp from 23 to 24 and select “Done”. So I selected an image that had not been corrected in ACR saved it and looked at it in Bridge. Not only that, I noticed that in Bridge Preview, all the changes I did in ACR were missing from the preview, reverting to Default ACR settings, including the thumbs which showed the corrections from ACR. I suddenly got that message when I attempted to run Photomerge. I ran a couple of versions and after clearing all except one from PS, I went back and started the process again. What set this off was an attempt to run a 6 panel panorama. Searching Help, I get a link to a script to load and use, which requires the user to be familiar with that script language. Using Esc only cycles through all the files it wants to stack which is way beyond the actual number of images selected. At that point, I cannot get out of the loop except to kill Bridge in Processes. When I select a set of files and go to AutoStack, I get a “missing preview data “ flag. In particular the Auto Stack and related items. I'm having trouble with certain functions in Bridge 64 bit, the current one with CC2014.
